Dinner in the Dahlias: A Seasonal Evening on the Farm

There’s something magical about sunset on a summer farm.

The light turns golden across the flower fields, the dahlias seem to glow, and the hum of the day slows to a quiet hush. Here at La Bella Vito Farm in Loomis, we’ve long dreamed of sharing that moment — not just the view, but the feeling — with the community that’s helped us grow.

This October, we’re opening the gates for something truly special:

A *seasonal farm-to-table dinner* nestled right in our blooming dahlia beds.

It’s not a typical event. It’s more like being invited to a friend’s table — if that table were set in a flower field under the stars. Just one evening. One long table. Thoughtfully prepared food made with local ingredients (including our own pasture-raised chicken). And a chance to experience a *Placer County farm dinner* in the most immersive way possible: where the food is grown, where the flowers bloom, and where community is rooted.

The menu will feature fresh, seasonal dishes inspired by the Italian countryside and crafted by Chef Giovanna Raccosta Nezhati. Beautifully balanced *mocktails* made with fruit juice concentrates from Crunchy Cottage will accompany the meal. And The Cozy Nest — another beloved Placer County business — will be baking the bread that graces our table.

This gathering is small by design. It’s for those who appreciate the slow moments. Those who find beauty in a dahlia at peak bloom or a lemon granita served at golden hour. This is a *Loomis farm experience* that celebrates what makes this land — and the people who support it — so special.

Tickets will be limited and released exclusively to our newsletter subscribers first.

If you’ve ever wanted to enjoy a slow evening on a flower farm, to eat what’s in season, and to be surrounded by dahlias as the sun sets — this is that chance.

With gratitude,

Holly & the La Bella Vito Farm Family
